| Woman Commentator - Match of the Day Now it's just wrong wrong wrong, woman commentator on match of the day, is nothing sacred?
The commentary not only sounded awful, it was awful, the content was rubbish, i shall have to mute the tv and put teletext on during her next attempt.
BBC has ruined match of the day. Political correctness gone mad, call it what you will somethings should just not be changed, this is one of them.
ive left the following comments everywhere i can, to voice my displeasure! Its great to have a good old rant one in a while!
"I wasnt impressed by the commentary, not only was it weak in passion and content (sounding forced and unconvincing) it was just out of place. I for one will be reaching for the mute button next time the high pitched, continuous, whiney, fragile tones of Jaqui Oatley grace the screen. Football commentary is an old pro's domain, validty comes through playing at the highest levels and knowing what your talking about, speaking with authority and reflecting what those players on the pitch are experiencing.
Great play is made that Jaqui's played amateur football, so what, so have countless 1000's of others in the country. Does that mean they are equally as qualified to commentate as the likes of Andy Gray, Motty et al? Nope because she is a woman she is given an opportunity she probably would not normally be gifted because of the positive discrimination, politically correct policies of her employer the BBC." |
