| Incest Debate What do you think of incest? Can you see why family members would fall in love with each other, or do you just dismiss it as wrong? What about step brothers and step sisters, strictly speaking not incest, but do you think that is wrong aswell?
I really don't see how someone would be sexually attracted to a member of their family, you look at your family in a different way than to how you look at anyone else, the fact I only have 2 brothers I'm not going to be attracted to one of them so it's easy for me to say, but I just can't see why you would think of family members like that, it just doesn't seem right to me.
Step brothers and step sisters is a weird one for me, if they met before the parents met and would be going out with each other, I always wondered what they would do if the parents got married, strictly speaking, would the parents be in the wrong? After all, the children did meet before hand and therefore it's not really the childrens fault, however I still couldn't see why anyone would be attracted to a step sister.
It's easy for me to say in the situation where I don't have to worry about these sort of things, would be interesting to see if we have anyone of the forum who has (and more importantly if they would want to say about it.)
So what are your views on the situation and why do you think that?
No stupid or childish remarks please, if you reply.. please make sure it is constructive. |

| Re: Incest Debate People who commit incest are suffering from a disorder. Incest isn't something that needs to be accepted as per a changing, progressive society as it can result in children with massive health problems not to mention physical deformities etc.
As for step-siblings, this is a completely different argument and not one I would really be too bothered about. |

| Re: Incest Debate Well, a can of worms here one feels.
My father's first wife was his first cousin, not truely what you was asking but...; He and his 'wife' had 2 children, they are now my half brothers, whom are about 2 weeks younger than my mother..!!
I was seeing and sleeping with my 2nd cousin for about 2 years (great shag too!!)
QUESTION: Incest; If a distant relation, who gives a shite; If closely, I could not comment, my close family are all over 50..!!!

That doesn't mean I'm passing any kind of moral judgement, I couldn't care less what anyone does with their private lives in almost any respect but when you consider the biological consequences of a possible child... hmmm... |

I would like to state that: a) I do not condone incest; b) not wish to get into arguement or debate; c) this is purely my experience and explanaition from the Dr whom we discussed this with.
Your thoughts? |

| Re: Incest Debate Personally I dont agree with it altho my mates always used to question the fact that I didnt fancy my skin as she was 38GG.
And along these lines......
I work with a bloke who is married to his son's ex-wife. So he is the grandad and step father too a 13 year old girl; and he is in his seventies!!!! (poor girl must get the arse ripped out of her at school). |
