I'd imagine FF's security features are preventing this, but its not something you can turn on or off in this case(as far as i can tell, have tried everything). The problem is a big % of the internet use FF now because of these features and because IE is such a malware/virus magnet.
Its strange though because other java based apps/chatrooms etc run fine through ff.

My problem with it is you are thanking without knowing what you're thanking for.

So I click the thanks, but then find I can't download, or its something I've already got, so should I then unthank? Its a bit of a backwards way of doing things!

In which case cant we add a 'smite' or 'thumbs down' button like on the old site format so as it can be taken back?

Personally I'm all for it as someone who posts a lot it is still good to see a response even if it is someone saying thanks to see what you've posted.

I've also removed the date which appears next to people when they groan and thank. Removed it because it slowed pageload and cluttered the DB with useless info and also made the page scroll longer then it should be.

After clicking thanks, wait a few seconds for the ajax to kick in and query. It is't always an instant swap.
