I think the changes will take a bit of getting used to also. Just 2 little comments re the changes.

1. Can the number of posts per page be increased to around 20?
2. The thanks button is good and bad = some people don't like the idea of saying thanks for something before they have the chance to see what they are saying thanks for. However, it should stop whoever posted the file from becoming a karma-whore; as thats what some posters were turning into on the old site (although a few heavy posters did deserve a bit more respect).
